Subject: Filly stumbles in, weak with exhaustion

With a soft whimper she half-collapses next to a tree trunk, breathing heavily. She remembered little more from the previous night, other than that she had lost her mother when the strange, two-legged creatures came. Heaven fled, the herd's screams ringing in her ears. She had a strage feeling she would never see them again, and longed for someone... anyone to protect and comfort her.
