Subject: NEW CD ?

Just back from Spiediefest in Binghampton, NY on Sunday night and it was a blast ! The band was awesome and they played two new songs - "The One That Got Away" and "I'm Alive." We actually managed to get passes to go back and meet the band afterwards. I complimented Mike on the single and asked "When do we get to hear the whole CD?"
His response confused me a little...he said "You'll hear it when it comes out, IF it comes out!"
When I asked what he meant by that, he replied "It may come out and it may not, depends on who you ask!"
This left me puzzled, especially after he hyped the CD in a local NY newspaper a couple days prior and referred to it as "10 hit singles" and "the best CD we have ever done !" And I must say, from the tidbits I've heard so far I agree completely !
What am I missing here ? Please tell me this is going to come out.
