VOLUNTEERS FOR AMERICA BENEFIT CONCERT:
It looks like the momentum for the just announced Tribute Concerts is gaining pace.
Two concerts - one in Dallas and one in Atlanta are planned.
The Atlanta gig is confirmed for Saturday, October 30, HiFi Buys Amphitheatre starting at 3pm.
Tickets go on sale 9/29 at 12 noon (maybe EST) - thanks Don for the info!
The Line up thus far - Styx, REO Speedwagon, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Foreigner, Bad Company, Ted Nugent, Pat Benatar, and Journey
BUT! In amendment to this - two things. I have heard whispers that suggest Eddie Money, Survivor and Kansas are possibles to be added. Secondly - there is a report that Lou Gramm may not be available, so Mick Jones would be there representing the band, but not necessarily taking part under the Foreigner name.
No details for the Dallas gig as yet. Updates as available.
