Thanks for your note, Nikia. I got the idea from your post on the LB website about if a person wants to see the guys in their town, they should contact local venues and get the guys booked. I'm going to do some legwork here for next summer's tour. I definitely think LB should have been in the recent Toronto show - in fact, I was surprised and disappointed that they weren't. I guess the organizers must not have had their coffee the day they put the list together and didn't include our guys! :-) The Vernon Hills show was PHENOMENAL! They played for over 2 hours, and here's the best part ... hubby Eric and I were in the front row, hamming it up for the guys (esp. Mike - he's such a nut!), and during "Working" when Mike sings "Everybody wants a new romance", he pointed us out to the crowd(indicating that Eric and I have a romance, obviously). I gave Eric a great big kiss on the cheek in front of the whole crowd, and Mike gave us both a thumbs up and a big fat grin. You had to have seen it to get the full effect, but it was a real hoot! After the show, we got to talk to the guys and get a couple of photos with Mike. Eric wowed Spider with his knowledge of Canadian geography, and I wowed Doug with a copy of his Paradise CD and discussion about marathon running (Doug has done 2 so far, and I am training for my first one in Chicago in two months). I keep telling Eric that the guys must think he's a really cool guy for bringing his wife to Loverboy shows - I hope they do! He's truly the best! Thanks for replying to my post - have a good rest of the summer!
