I agree that TSN and OTR did a terrific job with Mike Reno! You could tell that host Michael Landsberg was really pumped to have Reno on the show! When introducing his guests, Landsberg said of Reno being on OTR, "And this is very cool for us....!" Some other cool things about OTR, that I liked.....the show had this "Quirky Fact" about Loverboy when they were breaking for a commercial which was about how Mike had to wear a hard hat in the early '80's when they were opening for ZZ Top because the bikers would throw beer and whiskey bottles at them. Also, a lucky fan from Calgary had e-mailed the show earlier that day, asking Mike a question...(wish I had thought of that!). "In the song, "The Kid is Hot Tonite", where DID the kid end up? ("But where will he be tomorrow?"). Mike's answer: "I don't know...but I'll be in Orillia tomorrow night!" The only disappointment in the show was that Reno didn't really get the chance to talk all that much because of two of the the other guests who kind of "monopolized" a fair amount of the conversation (I like to refer to them "The Two Chatty Cathy's"). Still, all in all, it was another terrific show which followed right on the heals of the awesome show they had on Mike Bullard the night before!
P.S.(The "Favourite LB song" polls done on the show: It seemed that almost everyone had a different favourite LB song. I think there were two who said "Working For the Weekend" and two others who said,"Turn Me Loose". But the rest named other songs and Mike Reno said that he liked doing "When It's Over" on stage).
