12.07.2000 - SCOTT SMITH MISSING

The band were shocked to hear about the disappearance of Scott Smith, the bass player from Loverboy, who was washed overboard from his boat last Thursday evening, in the vicinity of the Golden Gate bridge (San Francisco). His body has not been found. "He was a good friend of ours, especially Phil, who worked and hung out with Scott. Scott was a super nice guy, liked by one and all. He was a good friend of ours."
