The radio station that did the interview (The Zone) is in Sacramento, CA. You can check out the website at www.radiozone.com

They had Mike Reno on to help promote the show coming up this Saturday night. Of course I'm going to be out of town this weekend and miss the show, but I'm hoping they will come back this way in the not to distant future.

The interview was a lot of fun, and Mike has a great sense of humor. Some of the stuff they covered was what Mike did for a living before he hit it big with Loverboy, and Mike mentioned that he used to do lots of construction work and said he was the "king of drywall". They talked some about what happened with the band when they quit performing and Mike just explained that the band was working hard and putting together new material, but that the record company basically told them they were going to put more time and money into other bands, and that they weren't interested in doing a new video or releasing a single. So the band just said, "forget this" and decided to go do things they had always wanted to do, like go fishing. So they just quit performing.....but after a few years, and a lot of fan mail, they decided to start performing again. Mike also mentioned that putting together the live album was a lot of fun and that it will be released this month. And like I mentioned earlier he said they have new material ready to go and the hope is that a few songs they have recorded for soundtracks will get picked up. If they are, he hopes to get a new record deal.

It was great hearing Mike on the radio! And it was nice to hear him filled with such enthusiasm. As a long time Loverboy fan I would love to hear some new material.
