Subject: the down side of being old..

female glances about the land in disinterest as she stands, stretching from her nap and searching for any signs of life, aware that most of the pack has left to hunt. wistful sigh escapes from the female as she flicks her tail to describe irritation at her handicaps, but also aware that she would not be assisting the pack in any way should she have accompanied them.

instant distressed emotion floods over the female as the gaze of her 'shadow' never leaves her, as though threatening her. a gentle snarl escapes from the elder as she spins about...this was not her normal 'shadow', but the 'shadow' of another..

the figure emerges from the obscurity, slinking in the darkness and then launching forth a lethal attack upon the killer of her mother, the queen of darkness.

Large mascu deftly moves his figure between Gaea and her assailent, gnarled and stained dentiles bared. A threatening snarl crosses male's features and a growl sounds, his hackles raising. A threatening step is taken toward this 'Shadow', stark blue optics alight with rage. No attack is launched as of current second, but just you wait...it would not remain that way for long.

immense female launches upon Gaea's attacker, fangs digging into the creature with ability, making it so that one false move would end the she's life.
the smaller but just as skilled creature emerges just as 'trouble with angels' and 'the devil's smile' does, yet instead of attacking she rushes toward Gaea's side, checking the creature carefully over for wounds, and discovering that the elder suffers from shock.
a gentle whine escapes from the female, her eyes upon the familar youth. "do not kill her, trouble with angels." she instructs, her tone marred with momentary weakness. "she is merely led in the wrong direction...let her go." she struggles to her feet once more, removing from the defensive pose she had struck a moment before.
the moment she is released she collapses, as though her own strength flees. "you...killed my mother." she hisses, her tone filled with hatred. "you had no right!" the misled teen cowers beneath the great power of the wolves.
she is by the youth immediately, disregarding her own safety, her very body posture warning the trio not to interfere. she begins to clean the terrified teen tenderly. "i do not know what you speak of, felony...for i did not assasin your dam...we were friends. she died in a war, it was not of my doing." she declares softly.
a whimper of distress escapes, her eyes closing. "but daddy said..." she trails off with a sigh.
she snorts her contempt. "your father is misled as well, youngling." she declares with a gentle sigh.
she falls into a deep sleep, filled with torment and mental pain.
she shakes her cranium, restraining herself from destroying the offender.
with a snort she nudges at 'felony' in an almost apologetic way. "i saw her die." she comments softly.
Gaea remains silent, her dark orbs filled with trouble.

Adolecent leaps into the den just as Gaea goes to her attacker, and a puzzzled look crosses her features. She moves silently toward TWA, her gait a slow stalk. Gaze moves over the adolecent, not much younger than herself, and tilts her head. This was the agressor? Gaze turns to TWA, expression concerned.
"Who is this?"

Male bounds inward, a loud howl reverberating from his strings. His hackles are raised, yet he seems to be disorented, and in a world of 'pretend', his still childish gaze moving around the den quickly. He bounds toward Gaea, his figure discribing intense joy.
"GAE..."
Male is cut short by a threatening snarl from TDS, and instantly falls to the floor, his tail tucked and ears drawn to his skull.

shakes her head and licks 'coragious destiny' affectionately. "hush now, my child." she murmurs tenderly, turning to look at 'angel tears' with a sigh. "yes...it is." she murmurs regretfully.

a low snarl escapes, turning on 'trouble with angels', eager for the reason to take her anxiety out upon another. "for once, restrain your pups from interferring. what they need is harsh discipline." she declares coldly.

a furious snarl escapes and she is prepared to leap upon 'forceful angel' for the insult, her optics blazing pools of hatred, but Gaea's command ceases all movement.

"both of you, stop acting like children!" she instructs angrily, meanwhile tenderly cleansing 'felony'. "forceful angel and trouble with angels, you are both dismissed." she declares cooly.

a gentle whine escapes from the youth as she glances about warily, awakening from the dream at the sounds of threatening growls.

she lifts her lip and shakes her head. "i refuse to leave with felony on the loose so near." she declares cooly.

"nor will i." she declares softly.

growls lowly. "then i want you to keep silent and out of each other's way...there shall be no bickering." she declares, the tone of the leader that she is returning momentarily before she is once more the nuturing mother for the distressed, misled teen.

Female lowers her dials at Forceful Angel's out burst, a low growl sounding. No longer pups, they did not NEED punishment, nor at least of how she spoke of. A sharp snort sounds, then she stalks away, moving into one of the many sleeping dens, retiring for a few hour's time.

Male lowers his figure and his gaze to the floor, ears drawn back against his skull.
"I didn't meant to make trouble..."
Gaze turns to Gaea, then to TWA, and finnaly to Forceful Angel. He quickly moves his gaze away from the later, feeling like the pup she made him out to be.

she smirks slightly and looks down at 'coragious destiny' in obvious scorn, turning to gaze at 'felony' instead.

she frowns and shakes her head. "come here, coragious destiny, it wasnt you...they are both just anxious because i was attacked." she murmurs tenderly, her voice reasurring. she approaches the youth and nuzzles him tenderly. "come and meet felony." she offers with a smile.

looks at Gaea and 'coragious destiny' in an unsure, submissive manner, cringing, as though meekly praying for them to leave her alone.

The fem stops just short of the closest den, turning her gaze toward her mother. She waits a few moments, then moves her gaze back to Forceful Angel, snarling lowly.
"Acting as if it is you who is at fault. And as if we are still youths who need repremand."
Her growl rises into a snarl, sending an abhoring look toward the forceful one.

Gaze turns to Forceful Angel, and creeps slowly past the female, his body low to the ground, tail tucked. As soon as he passes her, he stands to his full height, then nuzzles Gaea softly. He turns toward the femme 'Felony', his pate cocked slightly.

the female emits a lethal snarl and leaps toward the foolish youth, her fangs seeking out the vital lines, but yet she finds herself tackled by 'trouble with angels'. she easily gets out from beneath her and they both engage in a furious battle.

with a snarl she delivers blow for blow, ignoring all attempts to disengage their furious battle.

her commands are useless upon deaf ears, as they only listen for the fight that they both have been longing to engage within for several years. she shakes her head and snarls, moving to tear them apart with sheer force, but hesitating.

she cringes and cowers, whining loudly in distress.

Massive masculine snarls to himself, then quickly moves toward the brawling pair. Incisors find the thick rough of Forceful Angel's neck, then attempts to pull her away from TWA, his rationel that the smaller femme will give him a smige less trouble. Full weight is put into action, pulling 'spitting' femme away.

with a snarl she declares the injustice of the double teaming by turning, ignoring the pain that comes with her twisting fur, her fangs savaging the masculine harshly...she is much more deadly then 'trouble with angels'...for she holds more fury.

she is about to go upon 'forceful angel' when an unwanted figure interferes.

unable to take it anymore she does interfere, sending her fangs sinking into 'trouble with angels', skillfully dancing away and then turning to attack 'the devil's smile' and 'forceful angel', growling her threat as she is obviously prepared to take them all on.

livid, this female is quite a sight, swelled to her full height and looking frightening. "STOP IT!" it is a command that goes both vocally and mentally, momentarily unnerving all that are near for the intensity of her mental cry. with a swift movement she is restraining 'forceful angel', her fangs punishingly lashing out with ferocity. "back. now." she commands and turns to 'trouble with angels'. "you will go to your cave with angel tears and remain with her until i reach a verdict on what to do with you." she turns to 'angel tears', her optics filled with fury. "you will not complain nor make another sound if you do not wish to face my wrath. i suggest you go silently." with that she is once more nudging 'felony', who is once more terrified of the wrath of 'forceful angel', 'trouble with angels', and 'the devil's smile'. "lie down, child." she suggest and snorts coldly, looking irritated. she turns to 'the devil's smile' and grins thankfully. "thank you, friend." she murmurs, sighing her exhaustion.

she growls lowly and returns to the
shadows, evaporating from sight.

she obeys, fearful of the wrath of Gaea, but unwilling to admit it to any.

Male yelps in suprise as both Felony and Forceful Angel mannage to give an unexpected attack, and sharp gaze turns toward the younger hellion, hackles raised. Lobes lower to his skull at the meantal scream, and mascu winces visibly. Mascu stands slowly, then nods absently. A wide tear has made it's home within his thick pelt, cutting through skin and into mucles surounding his ribs. He sighs, then moves toward one of the closer springs, feeling an intense need to leave these femmes alone.

Dial lowers and tail tucks between legs, a fully submissive pose taken. With silenced movements, fem enters one of the dens, and laying down carefully upon the bedding...it wasn't as if the elder could hear her slight movments, yet she did not care to face Gaea in this angered state and would do as much as she could to remain out of her path.

Being one of the closes to Gaea, the scream in his mind seems to be the loudest, and a returned scream sounds, the punishment sending him into submission. Male dosen't dare move, fearful of another attack being launched, and another one of her debilitating mental screams.

she winces and nuzzles 'coragious destiny' tenderly, sending comforting vibes within him. "i'm sorry...but i had to get their attention." she murmurs apologetically, turning and urging 'felony' closer.

she moves silently, turning to look at 'the devil's smile' and whine, obviously desiring to employ her healing 'charm' 'pon the male.

smiles softly. "he won't bite." she murmurs encouragingly, nudging the youth tenderly. "come back when you're finished." she suggests softly.

with a nod she slinks after the male, her body low to the ground and her figure describing complete submission to the supposed higher male.

sighs heavily and tenderly begins to clean 'coragious destiny', attempting to calm him.

Male turns his gaze back over his sholder, stark blue optics clouded with slight pain. Slightly indiffrent, yet not cold, male turns toward the youth, gaze sweeping over her figure.
"Yes?"
Male is slightly tempted to ask if she desired to give his wound a twin, yet holds his tounge, feeling as if she was disorented.

Male sighs softly, then moves closer to the elder, his grandmother of sorts, nuzzling into her fur. Gaze follows Felony curiously, then moves to TDS, watching his response

Male looks oddly upon the youth, his blue optics unsure.
"I do not know whom your mother was, yet I appreciate your concern for my wound. Yet..."
He glances at Gaea, then back down to Felony.
"...I must decline your offer. Please take no offense, yet I am stuborn in my ways. I mean you no ill, yet no thank you."

Male sighs inwardly, then snuggles closer to Gaea, finaly relaxing. His gaze moves around the den idly, then back to Gaea.
"When can mom and Tears come out, Gaea?"

she flares up in contempt, her eyes flashing. "you do not know my dam, and so you refuse? you are judging me unfairly." words resemble stone, yet she pivots and melts into the shadows.

she frowns and shakes her head. "when i decide they have felt enough repentance. your mother did a great offense that would have resulted in death at any other place, and your sister's tauntings would have resulted in a thorough lashing. now...your sister will be released long before your mother, for feeding. your mother will probably be forced to fast for a few weeks." she declares quietly. the punishment is not unheard of from where she comes from...infact, it is quite minor...and trouble with angels knows the faults of her disobedience.

He looks at her questioningly, wondering if she knew what he had done wrong in the youth's eyes.

Male quirks a brow at Gaea, his gaze confused.
"I meant her no harm by the remark...and how was that a dissapointment to her? I meant her no harm!"
Male allows the last statment to make his voice rise, yet he turns a curious eye to the elder, now compleatly lost. He can tell quite clearly that the femme kept something from him, and was determined to find what it was.
"What do you hide, Gaea?"
