She turns her head away, sighing to relieve tension...
"well, I was just..."
Another long pause.
"Will you be my mate? I mean, you don't have to answer now, but I'd really like to know...and..."
She stops, looking at him hopefully, expectantly, reading his body language, trying to decipher his answer to no avail...
