Subject: Flashback (how the Lumberjack came to TTSWF)
Transmission begins…
The Scene: The camera shows the back seat of the TTSWF presidential limousine. Next to Kelly the cameraman is TTSWF interviewer Jeff Pettingzoo. In the back we see President Vengeance sitting next to a rather disreputable looking man in a white lab coat, whose nametag identifies him as Dr. Ed Tyro. The camera pans out the window of the limo it is obvious that they are cruising through the picturesque mountains of northeastern Oregon.
JP: President Vengeance why are we here and where are we going?
PV: We’re going to pick up the newest addition to the TTSWF.
JP: Isn’t it odd for the President to be carting around the hired help and what is his story?
Indicates Dr. Tyro. Vengeance smiles mysteriously and pats his breast pocket.
PV: This wrestler is a rather special individual. As for the doctor, well… That’s need to know information and you don’t need to know. Now shutup and ride or I’ll make you walk.
The camera turns out the window and we see mountain terrain that would make the heart of an artist ache. This goes on for several minutes. Then the car turns up a long driveway. The camera spots a sign, we see Kelly reach out and tug Jeff Pettingzoo’s sleeve. The sign reads Northern Oregon Hospital for the Criminally Insane.
PV: What are we doing at a loonie bin???
Vengeance smiles again but says nothing.
The limo pulls up to what looks like a 1920’s Rockefeller mansion and they all get out. The camera follows Vengeance up the stairs and through the front door to a massive desk. There is a rather dowdy middle aged nurse sitting behind the wooden monstrosity. Vengeance walks directly to the nurse and hands her a sheet of paper, which he had extracted from his inner jacket pocket.
PV: I’m here to see to the release of Stephen Black.
Nurse: This seems to be in order but…
PV: It is in perfect order Dr. Tyro will be taking charge of the case. We have been led to believe that Steve is a “Whole” man again.
She leads them back into the depths of the hospital twisting and turning going up and down stairs until they are all completely lost.
Nurse: Well he is back to one self at the present but he is becoming increasingly abusive to the staff. Raving about how he wants to get back into action whatever that means. Stephen you have visitors!!!
Vengeance smiles one of those game-winning smiles. Finally they get to a large banded iron door. The Nurse produces a set of keys that would make a high school janitor proud and unlocks the door. Jeff Pettingzoo peaks inside and gasps.
JP: Hey that’s the guy who cut off Mohammed’s arm in the ring in Dallas a couple of years ago! I thought he got life in prison!
The door opens completely. A large head that had looked up when the door first opened is down now long red hair draped in front of the face. He is sitting on the floor with his knees pulled up under his chin. He looks massive but basically harmless. The doctor is standing to the side and sneaking sips from a silver flask when he thinks no one is looking.
PV: No not prison.
JP: You can’t put that monster back in the ring!
At the mention of the word ring the huge head jerks up. Vengeance was looking for this signal.
PV: How would you feel about going back into the ring Steve?
SB: They won’t let me out. Besides no promoter would sign me. Who are you anyway?
PV: The name is Bill Vengeance. I’m President of the TTSWF. What would you say if I told you that not only can I get you out of here but also I’m offering you a big contract?
SB: Hell give me enough to live on and get me out of this hole and I’ll be your indentured servant.
PV: How does one hunderd and seventy-five grand a year sound? Oh and you will be in the care of Doctor Tyro here.
SB: Let’s go.
Lack stands up, revealing that he is 7’4” and 455lbs of Man Mountain. He is in unbelievable shape.
JP: You can’t put him in the ring he’s a psycho!!!
Black’s hand shoots out so fast that it can barely be seen, grabs Pettingzoo by the throat and lifts him up to even eye level. Blacks eyes have changed going completely flat and his features are hard.
SB: Don’t you ever call me crazy! I am not crazy!!!
Steve drops Jeff on the floor in a heap.
SB: Let’s go boss.
