Today's Framingham Town meeting almost became a charity 5013C thanks to Herb "free money" Chassan. Apparently Town Meeting member Herb Chassan has a lot of charities he's trying to help out. Good for him, but don't do it with Taxpayers monies Herb.
Maybe Herb, since you seem to have a lot of time on your hands getting people into town meeting, and getting people out, you can uses some of your own money and see how far it goes because you think the town is a 5013C charity. It is NOT as wise town meeting members saw. Your actions were an insult to how Town meeting is supposed to run.
Your answers to whom was the sponsor of the articles presented bordered on perjury. You were an embarrassment to the town meeting process. ALL notable boards had a real problem with your honesty and truthfulness. This latest charitable giveaway was stopped by a knowledgeable Town meeting who saw right through your foolishness.
Personally, if you think the town meeting is a charity then you are in the wrong business.
Go join a real 5013C organization or get your Jewish Synagoge or Catholic Charities to give the funds for all your charities, just don't come to town meeting pushing you sob stories of crime and children needing help by way of after school classes that you couldn't even prove was needed or even better, who was going to run the project. The whole episode on TV watching Town Meeting was a joke.
