New rules. I posted my thoughts at the end. Not sure they will be posted on the FramGov list.

The rules for Framgov

When posting links to something other than regular local media outlets
(newspaper and TV stations), please include the responsible author or
organization for the material and some insight into the relevance of the
content to FramGov.

If posters provide a link to a page with primary content that violates FramGov
civility rules, they need to include disclaimer that states that subscribers
may find some material offensive because posts may include insulting
characterizations about individuals or group of peoples, including insulting
characterizations based on [fill in the appropriate characteristic]. Links to
news stories from local newspaper and television stations are exempt from
needing any such disclaimer.

Thanks,

So what you are saying is that links to News stories, from "legitimate" news
sites are ok?
Hmmm, seems to me some of these sources could be reason for trouble too
wouldn't you say?
I look at the Local news sources as highly prejudiced and misleading myself,
that's why I produce my own news media via blogs or cable TV.
Since when is the local news media "civil" in what they produce as news
stories, or even right in what they say?
I look at it this way....when you click on any links here there or anywhere on
the internet you take it upon yourself to be entering places that might not go
along with your way of thinking. You already know that and you are OK with
that.
Just like when I come to this site I know there are things said here that I
find highly offensive to me, but I take that chance because I'm pretty thick
skinned and I don't get offended easily.
It's all part of the game with the internet. If you can't take the heat then
it's time to throw your computer or whatever device you use to access the
internet.

My comments: Joe Rizoli to the FramGov list:

So basically to comply with the rules I can do this:

The following link goes to web site furthering Framingham issues discussions. The link and its post is an uncensored discussion of Framingham issues and may not agree with the stringent rules for freedom of speech and civility language depicted here on this list. Feel free to take part in any of the discussions.
