I posted on a different thread my experience in giving an enema to another adult - a lady about 12 years older than I am. For me, the thrill was in actually giving the enema to her - particularly inserting that big nozzle ever deeper into her pretty little butthole - and knowing that she was enjoying the sensations and being given the enema.

Looking at some of these posts from some of you who grew up in the fifties... wow. If people did some of that stuff today, like punishment enemas or arbitrarily giving them to neighborhood kids - they'd be going to prison. And anybody - relative or otherwise - who spoke incessantly of enemas - would not be invited to any social functions.

Don't get me wrong here - I get the attraction of enemas. Although I did not grow up ever receiving them, when I was first exposed to enemas last year, I found I was surprisingly drawn to the whole process of actually administering an enema, and not so much to receiving them. It wasnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t bad to get one - I just got off on giving them more.

That said - I can't relate to enemas as punishment. It can and should be a pleasurable and sensory experience - not something potentially traumatic. But that's me. I can't speak for those of you who grew up in the fifties except to say that based on what I've read in various posts at this forum, I'm thankful I was introduced to enemas in a kinder, more mutually pleasurable fashion than the indignity of being given one in public on a kitchen table for all to see.

Again, I'm not down on enemas - I'm just down on how cavalierly they were apparently inflicted back in the old days. Administered in a respectful and loving way, enemas can most definitely be a positive and sensuous experience.
