Before taking an enema, I normally take at least one dose of a laxative. Maybe several.

Recently, I was feeling a bit constipated. So, I decided to do a clean out. Two days before the enema, I took 15ml of Milk of Magnesia at bed time. The next day at bed time, I took 30 ml of Milk of Magnesia plus a small dose of Ex-Lax.

In the morning, after the laxative worked, I took another dose of Ex-Lax. I waited for about 30 minutes. I then took my enema and I felt great.
