He stiffend in shock as her lips touched his own. He wasn't sure what to do. She was only doing this because she was having a hard time. She didn't really feel anything for him. He had to remind himself of that. Or more, remind his body. It ached to be closer to her, to take hold, make her his. Instead, he pulled away.

I made a promise to the other dragons. I have to leave Brahama. Please...don't make this hard. Don't pretend.
