Subject: ± Celtic Panther ±

Panther 'ness wanders through the shifting sands in search of her tiny brother. Perhaps she wasn't ment to have children anyway, her daughter was gone. Lord knows that knowledge cut deep. She never wanted to live like this, in such pain as had been recently thrust upon her. Greed would always bring out the worst in all of us. Femme comes to a hault near a small little pound and sips from the murky water to quench the little thirst of an adapted desert dweller. How foreign the land had become in her long absense, but it was not the land who had changed, but herself. How could she have allowed such a horrid change to take place? Perhaps the light wasn't as pure as she had hoped, but now the darkness seemed so deep she felt damned to drown within her own inner squalls of hatered. Were we all born to live like this? Did the light weaken us so that the darkness could finally come up behind us and snare us in it's open jaws. This was the wonder of a true renegade, never to fit in anywhere...but to treasure the gifts of eternal life. She was down now, but with the changing seasons, she to would rise again in time. Not even the somber months of winter touched the lands of eternal fire that was her home. No, the inner chill would never last long in a land where there was no such thing as ice.
