.{.kerry jumped at the sound of a voice, a male voice that she did not know. she stared at him long and hard, looking him over. deffinitely dark, and obviously welcome in these lands, even if not kindly welcomed. he was near her age, she could tell this, but little did that shine out in her. her years of outcast and a loner's life, did nothing to keep the youth in her, and she had matured greatly. also, her size was a product of her being a kea'phi, of the smaller white subspecies. that didn't matter, she would never have wished to be an enormous gold. the whites were know for their stealthiness and their skill as hunters. speaking of which, she wished to get out on her hunt. she was hungry. oh, well, she miht as well make friends not enemies, and perhaps this one could hunt, or she could teach him. she remembered not to speak her name, a custom among the kea'phi. only those to be trusted would know how to use her name safely and wisely. feminine words rang in his head.}.
