"feels good to be back in here!" she said, and walked backstage to find the amps she'd left there. Pulling them out onto the stage, she smiled and started to set the complex electrical equipment up, years of practice and skill coming back to her. Once she'd goten the amps and the sound board hooked up, she plugged the electric into the amps, and waited for her friends to join her. Seeing them walking in from the back of the theater, she waved.
"Hey! I found it! and Darian said he'd work the board!" Kara called, walking quickly down the stage. Selena smiled and walked lesiurely behind her. Darian waved and dissappeared, taking a back way to the sound boards in the Booth. Cal smiled and nodded.
"Hey sel, the drum set's in the back. feel like playin?" she said, and Selena nodded.
"Wouldn't miss it! It's been way too long since we played..." she said, her voice soft. She walked backstage and started to move the drum set. She grabbed a stage hand and got him to help her pull them onto the stage. Thanking him, she searched through her backpack for her sticks.
"Aright. Kara, u said you found yer acoustic? great, we need it!" Cal said, shaking her head as her friend nodded vigourously.
"yeh! and it's tuned and everything! the last time we played at was after MB, so im not worried." she said, and pulled her acoustic from her carry-case. Cal nodded and helped her friend hook it up to the amps as well. Selena put the finishing touches on her tuning, and gave the group the thumbs up. Cal nodded, and pulled three mic's over from the wings. Looking at the sound booth, she nodded, seeing Darian sitting at the board, making last minute adjustments. she stepped up to the mic, and nodded to Kara to start. Kara relaxed and started playing the opening bars of "All you wanted" by Michelle Branch. Cal nodded and started singing, tapping on her guitar to keep the beat until selena came in.

here she watched as Selena started, tapping her foot in time to the beat, setting the chords ready for her part when she came in on the electric.

She started her part, and the three started really playing, going into the chorus strong.

"I think we've got this one pretty much down!" Kara said, grinning. Darian gave the thumb's up from the sound booth, saying he'd recorded it, and selena and Cal nodded.
