Dear Grace, just a note to say that I have been working on the Kring Family tree. I am the great-great-great grandson of Christian Kring of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, circa 1804 or so. His sons were (that I know of) George Washington Kring, buried in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury, Livingston, Illinois; Christian Kring, burial place unknown, and John Kring, Sr. also buried at Fairbury, Illinois. John Kring, Sr. had a son named John Kring, Jr. whose daughter, Orra J. Kring Barker, was my grandmother. While I never knew her, they were of the Methodist faith and John, Sr. was the first class leader of the M. E. Church in Fairbury in 1858. If you are a part of this family line, let me know. We are having our first family reunion that incorporates both the Barker and the Kring family names.
