Hello Richard,

We think that your line must be from our George Washington Kring b 1845 in Franklin Co, OH. Between 1877 & 1880, he moved with his mother Rachel {Markley, Kring, Gordon) and his family his wife and 6 childern, and a niece Alice, to Moreau, Morgan Co MO and farmed in the Glensted. Six more children were born in MO.
In 1912 George and his wife Lucinda moved to CA settling near Empire, Stanislaus Co. George died there 2 April 1923. There are lots of our Krings from this line in Santa Maria, CA.

I suspect that your Bert is one of this family. There was a daughter named Bertha born 8 Dec 1873.

Give me some daes. You can e-mail me direct.

Since you did not include any dates in your query I do not have a time line for your George.

Grace
