Everyone needs to leave these girls alone. It’s time that whoever is hiding behind a computer screen needs to realize that you are about one post away from being found out. These are beautiful, young, hardworking girls, that deserve your respect instead of you talking hurtfully behind their backs. My father is a retired KY state trooper, my son and brother in law are both police officers, and my brother is a U.S. Marshall. If you think that there aren’t ways of finding out through law enforcement who is CYBER BULLYING children, think again!! Before you post these things, think about if you would say it to someone’s face, or even put your name to a comment on this horrible website. Obviously your negativity and spitefulness is not very becoming of you. Maybe you should think of another avenue in life to take, because if you choose to compete, you choose to accept the outcome!! No, not everything in life is fair, but let me set the record straight for you...my daughter, Morgan Harvey, has never been “coached” by anyone other than MYSELF, and her years of competing, and learning by winning, and losing as well. We have also NEVER had dinner with a judge. Morgan’s sister queen in 2010 as preeten, was never Maria Montgomery, it was Corinna Hughes. Since you KNOW so much, you would’ve also known that Maria was the Miss county fair winner in 2008. When she was the teen winner in 2015, her miss sister queen was Lacey Graham. And as far as having family on the fair board, it is not anyone that is closely related, nor would have ANY bearing on her winning or not. Morgan has worked so hard the past 9 years, to win these titles on her OWN merit. Take a look at this summer. We went to 11 county fairs (which she placed 1st runner up 7 times), before winning to get a chance to go on to state this past weekend. So with that being said, my suggestion to you would be instead of getting on here and talking so badly about the girls that always do well (since they’re basically the only ones ever talked about), just maybe you should focus on perfecting your own skills, rather than worrying about everyone else’s. As for myself and my daughter, we enjoy pageants, and we enjoy making new friends, and it’s something that we can do together. I just find it very sad that there are such hateful people in the world, that would rather tear these young girls down, than to lift them up. Everyone deserves so much more than to have to endure the false accusations of such cowards. You may not care for me, or my daughter, and that is fine, but if you ever would like to question anything about Morgan, please feel free to contact me, instead of coming to this site full of negativity. Trust me, I’ll have an answer to your question. And as far as Morgan’s grammar or accent goes, I like to think that it’s part of her southern charm and grace, something a few of you must know nothing about. Sorry (not sorry) for the long post, I’m sure many other mothers will stick together with me and agree. Thank you for your time, and I hope it will give a few people some things to think about in the future. Let’s all remember the saying, “ pretty is as pretty does”.
