They wiont send a contender until Connie quits picking her winner. It’s been known for a long time that she tells the judges exactly what she wants and holds the final decision on who the winner is. You will never have big competition because girls don’t want to pay big entry fees for it not to be fair. This year should’ve been Gena Blair (and I’m not her family barely know her) but it wasn’t because Connie doesn’t want a pageant girl. She wants one who has barely done any pageants and is just starting. That WILL NEVER compete well at a national level. They need a fair new director who gets fair quailed judges not from Kentucky where they already have knowledge of Kentucky girls and may already have preconceived opinions of one or more of the contestants. Again just my opinion. I thought Jordan represented as well as she could. She’s a pretty girl. Connie should have made sure her clothes were more in style. From what I heard, Connie was very difficult to work with on sponsored clothing and insisted on certain wardrobe items. Again, in my opinion she promised a budget fr clothes and gown and probably made her buy less expensive things and pocketed the extra money!
