I think the fact he did want to continue shows you weren't too cruel for him.

That’s nice of you to say.
The thing is, my enjoyment isn’t in hurting him, it’s in having the power. The fact is that when I put my heels on, he can’t resist doing as I tell him, including letting me put him in bondage when he knows from experience that I may very well do incredibly painful thing to him and there will be nothing he can do to escape. But it’s the bondage and the teasing that I like. And most of all the look in his eyes when he’s all tied up with his penis straining and his testicles aching from permanent, frustrated desire.
