Subject: Independence Day

How is everyone going to celebrate Independence Day? We have busy time planned.

Allison and I are again participating in our towns concert, we have been practicing. This year there will e four performance on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings, just after dark. I will be carrying flags and helping move things around on stage between the numbers. Allison will be singing and playing her saxophone. Each year this show gets better and more people come.

On the 4th we will participate in the traditional parade with our old cars. Dad, Mom and Grizzly will drive his old Model A, Allison and I are diving our 67 Mustang convertible and Brady and Amber will be driving the 69 Mach I.

Our town will be expanding the 4th of July activities this year. A carnival has set up on several blocks downtown with lots of rides, and also there will be a several block long street fair.

In a downtown park there will be kids games, races, and a watermelon social.

In addition tot y=the big performances, other, smaller band =s will be playing music through-out the weekend.

There is a lot to do, and I am looking forward to it.

We will also be having our traditional 4th of July picnic cook-out at our house. There will plenty of good food.

Work at Dad's office is going well.

Later.
