Thanks a lot for the Birthday greeting, Birthday wish. It great to hear from you.

We had a small party at my house on the 4th to celebrate, the party was in conjunction with a cook-out. Mom invited family, my Grandparents, Kaylee and some friends over for the cook-out. We had burgers, brats, hotdogs, chips, salads, and corn on the cobb to eat. Later we had cake with ice cream.

I received a number of nice gifts including cloth, cash, and cards. Kaylee and Allison conspired on a gift for Brooks and me, they bought us baseball tickets for this weekend to watch the Minnesota Twins play the Detroit Tigers in Minneapolis on Saturday. We will be driving to Minneapolis Thursday and coming home Sunday. We want to do some site seeing and visit friends in the Twin Cities area. It should be a great weekend. They bought the tickets, but we need to help pay for the rooms, food, gas ,etc. It was a very sweet gift from them.

Speaking of baseball my team won, our game on July 5th and lost on July 11th.

In our game on the 5th, I hit a Home run, a single and drew a walk. In our loss on the 11th, I hit into two double plays and hit a single.

We have been busy making hay lately. Our hay crop isn't the best we have had, but we are doing better then many. There has been a lack of rainfall where we live, it is worse to the west of us. Things could be better but we are doing okay. A couple of timely rains has helped out our small grains crops. I hope we get rain soon.

Grandpa and I went on another tractor trek in mud June, we has a great time. This is the big event we usually attend. Each year they make it different just enough to keep it interesting. We had a great time and people are always glad to see the old tractors. In one small town we drove past the Nursing Home and patients were outside waving at us, I think they really enjoyed the tractors.

I have been hanging with my friends, spending time with Kaylee, helping on the farm ad plying with Reggie. He sure enjoys having me home everyday.

I hope everyone is having a great summer.
