Subject: Wedding 2

After a long delay I am going to try and finish my report about Kala and my wedding.

The next day, Sunday, Kala and I went to her parent's house for brunch and to open our wedding gifts. Boy we received a lot of gifts. We are now well stocked with blankets, sheets, towels, pillow cases, china, pots and pans, a food processor, mixer, a new blender, waffle iron, etc. I can't remember everything, but it was mostly household related item. Brooks, Brady and Grizzly gave me a basketball so at least I got something to play with. LOL.

Later that afternoon, we were dropped off at the airport. After a 2.5 hour flight we landed in Vegas. We stayed at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

We checked out the city, did some site seeing and spent a lot of time together. We attended a couple of shows, found a club that played music and danced, ate at some nice restaurants, and of course, tried our hand at gambling. We managed to beat Vegas, we came out almost $300 ahead when we added up our winnings. NOW I CAN RETIRE, maybe not LOL. I also gambled some money Brady sent along with me, I made him almost $75. I guess Kala and I are not high rollers.

We had a great time and flew home the afternoon of July 4th. Grizzly met us at the airport and gave us the royal welcome home treatment, plenty of doggie kisses for both Kala and myself.

We have one week of summer work outs left at school, it is hard to believe summer is almost over, school will be starting in a month or so.

I will be an assistant coach on our Middle School football team again this year. Also, I will work with the varsity football team at my old high school. I will be working mainly with the Tight Ends.

The coaches and I are starting to get ready for the season.

I believe Kala is looking forward to school opening, she says she misses the kids.
