I hope everyone had a great Easter, we did at our house. Before I tell you about, we need to break for a special announcement.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT - EXCLUSIVE TO THE GRIZZLY REPORT

After sitting on this story for a while - we didn't want to say anything until it was confirmed - we can finally release the story, it has been verified to be true. Amber is with child. Yes, Brady and Amber are having a baby, the baby is due late this year or early next year. May be it will be a Christmas baby, or a new Years baby, or maybe the baby will share a birthday with Brady. Everyone at our house is so happy for them, I think the proud parents to be are really proud. I know Brady will make great father. We wish them the best.

Now back to our regular new.

Yesterday we had a big Easter dinner at our house. Mom and Dad cooked a big ham, and made some scalloped potatoes, green beam casserole, lettuce salad, fresh dinner rolls. Everyone had a great time.

The family attended Sunrise Mass Sunday morning while I stayed home. After Mass Mom, Dad, Tanner Brooks and I had some caramal rolls and fruit for a light breakfast, we didn't want to get to filled up, but needed something to hold us until the big feast at 2:00.

For dinner it was usual, beside Mom and Dad, Zack, Jenny and Nick came, so did Cassie, Ben and Cassie, Brandy and Amber, Tanner and Kala, Brooks, and Kala's Mom and Dad.

Last Thursday Brooks came home from college late in the afternoon and I gave him the royal welcome home. Doggie kisses everywhere. I let him sleep in my room at night too.

Saturday night - more like early Sunday morning, I was able to visit with my old friend the Easter Bunny, we had short but nice visit. Just like Santa at Christmas, I know the Easter bunny is very busy and needs to keep moving if he is to finish on time.

Our weather is getting nice, Saturday the temps were in the mid 70s, and I have been spending more time outside. Hallie and I have been seeing a lot of each other, and playing outside. I took Brooks to the dog park several times while he was home. I also was able to visit with Allison too.

First Zack and Jenny are having a baby and now Brady and Amber too. The two babies can grow up playing with each other. But this may not be all, it not confirmed but Cassie and Ben may be making an announcement soon too - nothing confirmed.

I have been helping Mom, Dad and Tanner work in our yard getting it ready for summer. We have mostly raked the grass, but Mom and Dad are talking about planting flowers and our garden when it gets warmer outside.

Last Saturday night we cooked some burgers and brats on the grill for dinner, it sure was good. It so great when we can cook outside.

Well that is all for now.
