It has been a while since I last posted, so it is time to get off butt and update everyone.

This is our last week of school for this year. I must say, it was a fun year teaching. I admit I was nervous at first, but it became easier as the year progressed. All my students passed the classes I taught.

The Middle School track season came to and end a week and a half ago. The boys track team did pretty good and had a very decent season.

Three of the high school javelin throwers I have been working with qualified for the state meet, I will be accompanying them to the state meet which will be held this Friday and Saturday. We are leaving Thursday afternoon and will spend two nights staying in a hotel. As coaches we can participate in the Parade of Champions Friday morning to open the meet. I haven't participated in the Parade of Champions since my senior year. After I graduated high school, I remember watching Brooks and his team participating in the Parade of Champions and wished I was there.

Kala will be riding with some friends, so she will be at meet too.

I am the last state champion in the javelin throw from my old high school. Three kids qualified this year, but I think one of them has a great chance of winning a metal.

Plans for the wedding are coming along, things are falling into place. With about a month to go, I hope things are getting done. LOL.

This summer I will be working at the school again, like last summer. Working with the kids in the Weight Room and teaching baseball and football fundamentals. I am looking forward to working with the kids. I will be taking a couple of weeks off for the wedding.

It is really sinking in I will be getting married soon. Kala and I have found an apartment and we will setting up house keeping soon. We want to get the apartment ready so it will be ready when we get back from our honeymoon. We would like to spend some time in tropical resort like Brady and Amber, but our schedules will not allow it this year. For our honeymoon we will be spending some time in Las Vegas, it should be fun.

Kala will be working at Best Buys again this summer. Kala got Allison a job at Best Buys too. Kala has worked a couple Saturdays now, and will work full time now that school is out for the summer.

When time allows, I have been attend cruse night, but can't this week because I will be at the state track meet.
