We send our CONGRATS to you and your 9th grade team
for winning 2 out of 3 games you reported about.

No need to apologize and we don't see where your
making excuses for the game loss resulting because
you had three team players with a stomach bug and
caused them to be sat out by you for their safety.

YOU ARE AN EXCELLENT COACH TO PUT PLAYERS' HEALTH
FIRST AND NOT SECOND TO TRY TO WIN GAMES!

(Jake): Coach Tanner you will recall a few weeks
ago I couldn't play good because of stomach flu and it
resulted in our team getting a 69-59 loss on Sat.,
Jan. 21. I dressed, wanted to play and told coach to
try me, but in opening minutes of the game I was only
able to score 2 points and my playing ability was "lousy" so Coach pulled me and sat me out rest of the game. I
ended up with game ending only the 2 points, and the
team tried to make up for my not playing, but "things"
happened and the other team jumped out and stole the game
and won.

The Wednesday following after I rested and recovered and was able to play Jan. 25 I scored 13 points and helped us
to win 76-72.

Boy that stomach (flu) bug that hit your team on Jan. 24
sure made its 'round to hit the team your team played on
Jan. 26 to cause them to lose to your team, didn't it? I
wonder if that was the same flu bug that attacked mem, Jake,
and then traveled to your area?

Good to see the Varsity won 2 out of 3. WHOW! That game
of Friday, Jan. 27 sure was close 71-69 and a heartbreaker
to lose. Did a player hit a winning layup/shot to steal
the game away? Don't you just hate those games? There's nothing you can do about it, right? Only seek revenge
when playing that team again, if you play them again this
season?

WE WISH YOU & BOTH OF YOUR TEAMS "GOOD LUCK" REST OF THE
SEASON. JUST TELL YOUR TEAMS TO GO "KICK SOME BUTTS!"
