Hey Grizzly,

Yeah, you could go to Puxsutawney, Pa. to watch for
Phil to come up surfacing from his groundhog hole to
try to chase him back inside to keep him from seeing
his Shadow and predicting Six More Weeks of Winter.
That would be a first Grizzly, because Phil has NOT
missed an early Feb. 2 appearnce to predict the weather.
Maybe you can give it a try next year?

What about other weather predicting groundhogs living
other places throughout the USA? Are you going to try
to keep them from seeing their shadows and predicting
6 more weeks of winter?

Within a couple of hours drives from us, different directions, are two zoos who have their own groundhogs, but nobody published any Weather Predicting Reports Feb. 2 from any of them. Wonder if they didn't bother not getting up that early in the morning to forecast weather for the next 6 weeks?

Guess the reason we give rodents like Phil, so much power in his predicting the weather is because of the origin of
his ancestors coming from Germany to the USA and settling
in Puxsutawney, PA 131-years ago. They want to continue the
tradition still.

In one of the area newspapers they published Phil's photo
taken on Feb. 2 as he announced his prediction for the 6 coming weeks. Just like it was mentioned, in the photo we
can see where Phil does/must weigh 20 lbs. like was
mentioned in a few of the news broadcasts. Will you still
be able to take on Phil like you said you would like to
Grizzly? How much do you weigh?
