Subject: Hoop Wins are Fun, Hope to Keep Advancing

Hello Everyone...

WE thought we would quickly check-in here while we can
and let everyone know what has been happening and will
happen.

First off:

We tied back on Friday, March 3, 2017 in our last
regular league game of the season with another school
and will share a basketball league championship.

We won the game we played on March 3 by a score of
59-55. It was Senior Day, and the win added icing
to the cake for the Seniors on our Team who were
recognized by our Home Crowd. Next year will be Mark,
Drew, Jake and Seans' turn, then Cody and Hunter to
follow the next year.

We did the following scoring to add to our game winning
score:

Mark had 15 pts., including two 3 point baskets, besides
two basketball steals.

Jake had 10 pts., one 3 point basket.

Drew had 9 pts., one 3 point basket and 6 rebounds.
Cody had 5 pts..
Hunter scored 3 points.

We finished league play tied for FIRST PLACE IN OUR
LEAGUE and record of 14-4. Overall record now 24-4.

Game 1 - Tournament on Tuesday, March 7, 2016
We won: 75-64. Scoring:

Mark had 20 pts., four 3-pointers, 3 steals.
Drew had 14 pts., one 3-pointer, 5 rebounds.
Sean had 10 pts. 2 steals.
Jake had 8 pts., 2 rebounds.
Cody had 7 pts., one rebound.
Hunter had 6 pts., 2 rebounds.

Overall record now 25-4.

Game 2 - Tournament on Thurs., March 9, 2017
We won: 63-58. Scoring:

Jake had 16 pts., two 3 pointers, one rebound.
Mark had 14 pts., two 3 pointers, 3 steals.
Drew had 10 pts., 5 rebounds.
Cody had 8 pts.
Sean had 6 pts.
Hunter had 5 pts.

Overall record now 26-4.

Game 3 - Tournament on Sat., March 11, 2017.

The game score is tied 56-56 with 5 seconds left on
the clock last quarter. Coach called time-out, we have
the basketball at mid-court. If the ball can be put
into Mark's hands go shoot and see what happens.

Mark gets the ball, turns and launches it while
clock resumes...SWISH! TIME GONE ON CLOCK AND THE
SCOREBOARD READS NOW: 59-56 THANKS TO MARK'S THREE
POINT BASKET SCORE!

Our basketball team is mobbed on the floor. Sorry
security, you did your "best"! ARENA GOES NUTS,
at least our fans do!

WE ARE GOING TO ADVANCE TO CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. Before
we do, the following scoring took place we contributed:

Mark had 19 pts., INCLUDING GAME WINNING BASKET!
Drew had 12 pts., including one 3 pointer, and 4 rebounds.
Sean had 8 pts., 2 steals of the basketball.
Jake had 6 pts., one steal of the ball.
Cody had 6 pts. and one steal of the ball.
Hunter had 4 pts.

Overall record now 27-4 and advance to Championship
Game of Mon., March 13, 2017.

Game 4 - CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION TITLE - Mon., March 13, 2017

Who says Number 13 is an unlucky number? Monday, March 13,
2017 was VERY LUCK for our basketball team. In a see-saw
scoring game, until the final minutes of the game, we ended
up winning a CHAMPIONSHIP 70-63 and advance to regional
tournament play.

The following scoring took place:

Jake had 15 pts., including two 3 point baskets.
Mark had 13 pts., including two 3 point baskets.
Drew had 9 pts., including 6 rebounds.
Sean had 7 pts., one steal of the ball.
Hunter had 5 pts.
Cody had 5 pts., one steal.

Security was able to keep fans off the floor so we
could cutdown basketball nets and be presented with
a FIRST PLACE trophy!

We celebrated in the locker room, back at the hotel, and on the bus.

What coaches did last week was have tutors come with us and we stayed at the hotel when we weren't attending practices
or playing games.

Tonight, Thursday, March 16, 2017 we play our first
game in Regional Tournament. What happens, happens.
