Subject: We Our Holiday Hoop Tourney Champs!

Our College Basketball Team played in a 3-day Holiday
Christmas Tournament Dec. 27, 28 & 29, 2016, playing
a game each day to see how we would finish at the end.

We each did our share of playing & scoring points along
with others on the team, and when the final day of play
came it took an overtime period to help decide the outcome
of the tournament but, our team was able to put it together
and come out victorious and win the Championship Title.

Here's how we did it, playing each game:

Day 1-Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016 we won 59-47. The lead changed
a couple of times but, once we took the lead for good we
were able to come out on top. We contributed the following
in scoring points:

Drew scored 12 pts., including one 3-pointer, 6 rebounds.
Mark scored 10 pts., including two 3-pointers, 3 steals.
Sean scored 8 pts., including 2 steals.
Jake scored 8 pts., including 1 real.
Hunter scored 4 points.
Cody scored 2 points.

The win gave our team a 7-0 record and advance to play in
the semifinal game.

Day 2-Wed., Dec. 28, 2016 we won 65-64 but had to come
from behind to win. With the score 64-62 in favor of the
other team winning with seconds left in the game to play
when we get the basketball back, our coach calls a time-out
and instructs to get the ball into the hands of either Mark
or Jake to shoot and it will have to be a 3-point basket to win the game; Jake is more open then Mark when he gets the
ball, turns and dripples and lanches the basket to the basket and it drops through as time expires to give our team
the 65-64 win to advance to play in the championship game the next day.

Jake is swarmed on by his teammates, while the losing team
is stunned, and then the winning team is swarmed upon by
their fans in celebration!!

Scoring in the game:

Mark scored 18 pts., including four 3-point baskets,2 rebounds.

Drew scored 10pts., including 5 rebounds.
Jake scored 9 points, INCLUDING THE WINNING BASKET SHOT!
Sean scored 7 pts., including 3 rebounds.
Cody scored 5 points.
Hunter scored 4 points, including 2 steals.

The win gave our team a 8-0 record, advancing to the championship game.

Day 3-Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016-CHAMPIONSHIP GAME our team
won the CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE by a score of 69-65 after a
single overtime of play.

Each of us contributed scoring the following points in the game:

Mark scored 14 pts., including two 3-pointers, 2 rebounds.
Jake scored 11 pts., including one 3-point basket, 3 steals.
Drew scored 10 pts., including one 3-point basket,4 rebounds
Cody scored 8 pts., including one 3-point basket,2 rebounds
Sean scored 8 pts., including one 3-point basket,1 rebound
Hunter scored 6 pts., including 1 rebound.

The win gives our team a 9-0 record for the season so far.
We play next on Wed., Jan. 4, 2017.

Our team stayed at a hotel, enjoyed eating some great food
at a nearby resturant, and enjoyed the company of our
cheerleading girlfriends and our families staying at the
same hotel.
