Well, lets see.

I have been enjoying my last few weeks of summer before returning to college.

We have started combining, we finished our Malting Barley (we had a great crop) and will be starting on wheat shortly.

Also, we are still making hey. In June it was getting pretty dry and we thought we would get only one cutting of hey this year, but July brought a lot of rain and we now have lots of hey.

I have been enjoying time with Kaylee. We went to the street dance in our town put on by the local business club to rise money for the FFA program at school. We had a great time dancing and meeting friends, a lot of our old high school friends were there. It is kind of different going to the dance, we just danced and had fun. When I was in high school I would take my turn selling food at the chuck wagon. I visited with my old FFA teacher for a while.

In a past poet I told you about my grandpa's 1941 Chevy half ton truck he acquired. I have been having fun driving it around. It a basic old truck, but in ways it is fun to drive. No power steering, power breaks, no air conditioning, no radio, a crude suspension, and a manual transmission. The only option on the truck was a heater. Could you imagine having to order a heater?

I think I old you my parents got another German Shepard dog, named Reggie. Well, Reggie has decided he and I are best of friends, he follow me everywhere. Shen combining he comes with, if I take my truck or grandpa's old truck for a drive or to town, he insists on coming with. He wants to sleep in my room at night. He is a great dog. I still love Abbey and Lady too.

I have also found time to ride my dirt bike, go swimming, hang with friends, and get ready to go back to college. I spend a lot of time with Kaylee too.

Later dudes.
