Subject: Grizzly Report 09-07-2016

Hi Everybody:

It is time for another award winning edition of the Grizzly Report, by me, Grizzly.

The staff of the Grizzly Report hopes everyone had a safe and happy Labor Day weekend. We didn't do much, but we had fun with family and friends.

The excitement started Friday evening when Brooks came home from college, he arrived home about 5:00. When I saw him, I gave him the royal welcome. I jumped on him and gave him lots of doggie kisses. I fallowed him all around the house and was happy to share my bedroom with him. I hung close to Brooks all weekend.

Saturday was warm and sunny with rain forecast for Sunday and Monday so we decided to host a family cook out on Saturday afternoon and evening in our backyard. Brady came over and he and a Dad cooked steaks, burgers and hotdogs on the grill. We also cooked corn on the cobb, baked beans, slaw, lettuce salads, water melon and there were several types of cookies and bars. We had a feast.

Besides Mom and Dad, Zack, Jenny and Nick came, so did Cassie, Ben and Sarah, Kala came over to be with Tanner, Brady and Amber were here and Allison came over to be with Brooks. Kala's Mom and Dad also came over.

We spent time hanging in the backyard, playing Frisbee, throwing the ball, visiting and having fun. The boys threw the football around.

Mom, Kala, Jenny, Cassie, Amber, Kala's Mon, and Allison spent a lot of time talking about the upcoming wedding. Everyone was so happy about the wedding. I know the guys are happy about the upcoming wedding, but I think the girls are a lot more excited.

The food was awesome and I got my share of meat and some cookies. I am not much for salads and corn.

Sunday it did rain which limited our time outside. I got to see and visit with my old friends Jonah and Damon. Trent plays college football and they had an away game Saturday, he didn't get home until Sunday morning. I was sill glad to see him too.

When it wasn't raining Brooks and I went for walks and when Allison came over with Copper we went to the dog park. I had a good time at the park playing catch with Brooks and running with Cooper.

Sunday evening Mom, Dad, Brooks and I were invited over to Allison's house for dinner with her family. I got to come too - Allison's family likes me. It was fun evening.

Monday was a sad day, in the afternoon Brooks had to leave for college again. Before he left we cooked burgers on the grill. Mom gave him a huge Tupperware full of cookies and brownies. He gave me one and took the rest. Brooks picked Allison up ant her house and she rode back to college with him.

Tanner made it through his first week of teaching. At first he was nervous, but it was great week for him and he is excited about teaching. I think he really enjoyed himself after the first day. His Middle School football team didn't do so well, but I will let him tell you about it.

The coming Friday Mom, Dad and I are driving out to the ranch for the weekend. It is the weekend for the Threshing and Antique Show. Mon and Dad will be staying at Wyatt's Grandpa's house. Wyatt's Grandpa is a brother to my Dad. Brooks and Wyatt are coming from their college, I will be staying with them at Wyatt's house. I think it will be a fun weekend. I will get a chance to meet Reggie, I haven't seen him yet.
