Hi Everybody:

It is time for another award winning edition of the Grizzly Report by me: Grizzly.

We had a very busy and exciting weekend when we went travelled to the ranch and attended the Threshing and Antique Show. I must say we had an awesome time.

The weekend began about 1:30 Friday afternoon when Mom, Dad and I loaded up the F-150 and began our trip. I spent a good deal of time helping Dad drive. I know he knows how to drive, but I am sure he needs my help too. Dad was driving, Mom was riding shotgun and I was in the middle. After a while I jumped into the backseat and took a nap. Sleeping I the truck isn't the same, I used to use Brooks as my pillow, but he doesn't ride with us a much anymore.

On the way out, we stopped at a service plaza along the interstate so we could take a break and get a snack to eat. Mom gave me some water, she had a decaf coffee and Dad had a diet coke. We also got a plastic cup of glazed donut holes, you know he little balls that are left over when the hole is made in the donut.

We arrived at the ranch, Uncle Cliff and Jo Ann's house, just after 5:00. Shortly Brooks , Wyatt, Cassidy, Allison and Kaylee arrived. It was great seeing everyone. I gave Brooks a lot of doggie kisses and some to Wyatt too. Cassidy, Allison and Kaylee were glad to see me too.

Soon more family began to arrived, including Wyatt's parents, Jesse, his girlfriend, and others. Connors family came, but not Connor, he had to play football. We had 21 people for dinner.

JoAnn and cliff cooked a large turkey on their grill and we had turkey, stovetop, slaw, corn, lettuce salad for dinner and cookies and brownies for dessert.

Brooks, Wyatt, Allison, Kaylee and Cassidy went to town to watch Connor and his team play football. I guess it was an exciting game but ended in a tie. I will let Connor tell you more about the game.

I didn't get to go to the game, so I stayed home and played with Abbey, Bailey, Lady and Reggie. This was the first time I met Reggie, but he seems like a nice dog. He is very young, but I think he will be okay.

The men hung out it the machine shop talking sports and hunting, they are planning this year's pheasant hunt.

Books and I slept in Wyatt's room with Reggie. Abbey and Lady were there but didn't stay, they like sleeping downstairs.

Saturday morning we went to the start of the tractor trek at a local implement. Mom, Dad and I drove over to the grounds where the Threshing show is held. I was able to attend, there were other dogs, but I had to wear my leash.

We had a great time at the show. Dad and I rode in the parade in the back of a 1925 Model T truck. It was fun, I never rode in a Model T before, has anyone else?

After the parade, we visited the various demonstrations of wood cutting, shingle make, threshing grain, shelling corn, crushing rock, sawing trees into wood, watching old newspaper presses work, vegetable canning, yarn making, candle making, pressing apple cider and more. We also checked out the blacksmith shop, hit and miss engines and viewing the old tractors and farm equipment.

That evening we went to Wyatt's house for a ham, groten potato, corn, lettuce salad and dessert dinner. It was good. Later Brooks, Allison, Wyatt and Kaylee went back to the show grounds for the dance, they didn't get home until 1:30 in the morning.

Sunday morning we hung out, visited and had brunch. We returned to the show grounds to watch the parade again and Mom wanted to see a couple of vendors before we went home.

We arrived home about 7:00, I as tied and slept on the way home. The weekend wore me out, I had to take an extra nap today.

Did anyone watch the start of the NFL season? Dad and I watched some of the Sunday night game between New England and Arizona. I was disappointed when Brady couldn't play.

We want to offer out congrats to Mark and Holly for being together 6 years, CONGRATS.

It was fun time.
