Subject: Softball

Time to update everyone with some more softball results, we have played three games since we last checked in.

April 6th we won our game 9-3. We lead all the way. Brooks started us off with an inside the park homerun. Brooks had a great hit to center field, a sure double, but with his speed to headed for third, their throw was off - way off - and Brooks ran home. He still has great sprinter speed. In addition Brooks had two walks.

Wyatt spanked a triple down the third base line and drew two walks. We had three great 5-4-3 double plays. Brooks made great stops at shortstop, flipped the ball to our second baseman Cam who threw to Wyatt at first.

We played another game on April 12th, dropping the game 5-4. Brooks hit a single, drew a walk and grounded out. Wyatt grounded out twice and hit a double. We did have two great 5-4-3 double plays.

Today, April 14th, we bounced back winning 12-0 - the game was called after five innings. Brooks hit a single, drew a walk and grounded out. Wyatt had a great day, hitting double, drew a walk and hit a homerun with two runners on base. Wyatt's first HR of the season.

We play again next Tuesday.

We have completed registration for fall semester, we are going to be in our second year of college.

Saturday night our dorm is having an end of the year dance. We have rented the ballroom at a local hotel and hired a DJ. The dance will not be a formal as a prom, but most people are dressing up. We are wearing our suits and the girls very nice dresses. Brooks is taking Allison and Wyatt is taking Kaylee- I guess most people would have guessed that. lol.

We have signed up to live in the same dorm again next year. Living in the dorm this year has been a lot of fun. We met a lot a new great people and have had a great time hanging with them.
