Subject: Grizzly Report 06-22-2016

Hi Everyone:

It is time for another award winning edition of the Grizzly Report by me: Grizzly.

The staff of the Grizzly Report hopes everyone of our royal readers is having a great summer, we are. Summer is in full swing, Tanner and Brooks are home from college, and Mom has the summer off from teaching. We have been spending a lot of time in our backyard and on our deck and patio. We have doing a lot of cooking on the grill- food cooked outside taste good.

We hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend a few weeks ago, we did. We had a quit weekend, nothing special, but we had a awesome cook out on Monday. The food and company was delicious, I ate well that day.

Our star patient is doing well recovering from a broken ankle. Amber and I have done an outstanding job nursing hem back to health. Dad doesn't use his crutches anymore and is back to wearing a regular shoe. After his cast came off, he wore a big protective foot for a while. I am glad dad is getting much better.

We have had a few really hot days so far this summer, Brooks and Tanner went to the swimming pool, but didn't take me along. I like to swim too.

Our garden is growing well, we will soon be eating vegetables from our garden. I don't see why we just plant vegetables, why not steaks or roasts too. Lol.

Also the flowers mom and I planted are looking great, our yard really looks good.

For a while we were short on rainfall so turned on our sprinklers. It is fun to watch the sprinklers work and run through them - it is fun to get wet. When we water our lawn the birds start to show up. They stand in the spray and have fun. They pull worms for our grass. I don't believe worms would be to tasty.

I can't believe we will soon be celebrating 4th of July. I love having a picnic on the 4th, does everyone else like picnics?

Does anyone have any big plans for the 4th?

Brooks decided to participate in the 4th of July show our town puts on. I know he misses Allison, but the show must go on.

Last weekend Brooks drove out west to visit Allison for a coupe of days. I know he enjoyed himself, but still misses Allison.

Hallie and I have been fun playing in our yards and at the dog park. She is really a lot of fun to be with.

I hope everyone is having a great summer.
