I would like to send a belated thank you for the nice birthday wish, it was greatly appreciated.

I hate to make excuses but the last couple of weeks have been very busy. The weekend of my birthday, Kara and I attended Tanner's conference basketball tournament. We spent from Friday morning to Tuesday morning at staying at the city were the tournament was held.

This is the end of Tanner's college playing days. It is hard to believe, after spending, years attending our children's events it is almost over. With five very active children involved in sports, school and church events we spend a great deal of time attending events. At times we raced from one event to another. It was hectic, but always fun - I think I am going to miss it some.

After things settled down, with Tanner home last week, we had a joint birthday party. Kara made a great steak and seafood dinner and I received several nice presents. In addition to socks, shirts and ties, I received another sign for my shop. Tanner and Brooks pooled their money a bought me a replica Pegasas (the flying red horse Mobil used as a logo for years). It measure about 30 x 24 and looks great hung on the wall of my shop with my other sates, license plates, car badges and other auto/gas station stuff.

Thanks again.
