The synopsis of "Triple Trouble" reminded me of a short cartoon that I saw a few years ago... I don't know if it was theatrical or made for TV. It might have been made by Hanna-Barbera. This is what I remember:

A man is trying to build a freeway. He crashes against a really big tree and wants to chop it down with an ax. In the tree, there's living a woodpecker who immediately stops the man at his work. The man tries some other things like cutting the tree down with a chain saw (the woodpecker would then drill a hole in the saw and set the gas to fire), and making the woodpecker believe it's snowing so he'd fly to the south etc... If I remember right, they finally made sort of a tunnel into the tree so the cars could drive through it...

Does someone know the name of this cartoon?
