Subject: **A white form slowly walks in**

**She is a white fox, but her fur has a strange green tint, making it appear to glow. She slowly walks up the aisle, letting the light seeping in through the stained glass windows bathe her in it's warm and comforting light. She has her paws clasped to her chest, and her head is meekly lowered. She embraces the solitude and comforting air of the church, sensing that no one can do her harm in here. She walks to the altar, where she carefully kneels, and lowers her head until her forehead touches the step. There she sits, motionless, tears streaming freely from her white eyes and down her pale cheeks**

**An elderly brown mouse wearing a white robe slowly approaches her, allowing his feet to make some sound, so's not to startle the fox out of her wits. he stops behind her and puts a gentle paw on the trembling shoulder** Is there anything I can do for you, my child? You are so sorrowful; please, tell me what I can do to help.

**Looks up with a start at the touch of the paw on her shoulder, and she eyes the father with a look full of fear. Seeing who it is she relaxes a bit and the look changes to a pitifully sad and sorrowful one. She clutches the hem of his robe with her trembling paws and lowers her head once more** All I ask, Father, is for your protection. Please assure me that I shall be safe in this sanctuary, for my enemies are many, and my defences are few.

**Wonders what creatures would make such a sweet, timid beast their enemy, but does not ask, lest he upset the fox any further. Instead, he leans down and dries her eyes, while speaking to her.** Very well, my child. This shall be your sanctuary. As long as you are here, no harm will come to you, I'll see to that. Should you need me, I shall be here, for this is also my sanctuary. **Bows slightly in farewell and retreats to another part of the church, leaving the young fox to herself**
