Subject: this was the original "top list"

This is the oldest surviving volume of our ASMR collection.

All previous lists dating to the earliest days of Youtube have either been lost or deleted.

several years ago,
this page became our primary list of top-rated ASMR Channels.

However, the history of our ASMR collection predates Youtube.
In the earliest days of the Internet (back in 1993);
we compiled lists of activities and programs which triggered "Relaxation & Meditation".

At the time, the term ASMR didn't even exist.

Part 2:
In the early days;
we were aware that certain things caused a euphoric tingling feeling.

Such examples include rain, audio-books, soft music, reading, and television documentaries.

Our earliest lists would name the best documentaries on television.
Always narrated by a professional speech artist.
These TV programs always produced a wonderful sensation.
This would later be known as ASMR.

Part 3:
In the earliest day of Youtube;
we would place basic lists on forums (including voy).
They were gathered in a crude simplistic manner.

Virtually all of these links would disappear in time.
Channels would close, or get suspended by moral police.
But, they were the pioneers who paved the way for mainstream ASMR channels.

Perhaps now, you can understand why it wasn't important to save these old lists.

Part 4:
In short: this is the oldest surviving ASMR page.
You can see the remnants of old documentaries (such as Carl Sagan, and Bob Ross.)

You can also see various types of ASMR.

While making this page, the Top-sites were still developing.
and they now appear at the top (listed as primary Relaxation Channels).

Conclusion:
Personally, I'm an "OLD SCHOOL" ASMR fan.
I prefer audio-books, or, the soothing sounds of gentle rain.

But, in our modern days of high-speed Internet; there's an abundance of ASMR channels.

The list has since grown and grown.
and will continue doing so.

final notice:
this page appears to prohibit comments from users.
My apologies for this.

But, on other pages, let us know if there are any ASMR Youtube channels we've missed.
We'll be glad to add them.
