Nina, your children do have entitlements, but you do not. Your children are entitled to have insurance coverage through Tri-Care. I am not sure what service he is in, but I just left the Navy and my husband is currently active. In the Navy (I think this is service wide) each service member has to fill out what is called a Page 2, where they list all of their dependents. There, your ex husband should have listed your children also. Your children should be issued ID cards, pending their age, and they should be able to see any of the approved facilities in the Tri Care network. If you are unsure of what Tri Care is, you should visit their website at www.tricare.osd.mil
If you have discussed this with your ex, and he refused to list them, then you need to contact his command, and they will make sure that they are listed. Most commands you can find online, just search for the command and see if you come up with something, and then go to that site and look for an email link to the Commanding officer.
Then your children should be taken care of, however, you have no entitlements. Hope this helps!
Kristy
