When is the divorce final? You will not qualify for any benefits once it is final. That may be why he is not helping you if it is right aroud the corner. You can go up to the location where you may live that processes them and talk to them, if you think it will help.
You may want to try to apply for medicaid to get some assistance - make sure you tell them you are not living with your x.
Good luck and God Bless

Leta,

even if your husband was to agree and renew your ID card, all benefits will seize once your divorce is final. Nothing you can do, no one to force. Sorry.

[> Military I.D. Card renewal -- Barbara Annette Campbell, 06:59:08 05/05/03 Mon

My Mil. I.D. card expires May 24, 2003. My husband is going to have foot surgery very near that time, and I would like to know if renewal can take place before the due date?
We have to drive 125 miles one way to get to Ft. Polk, La.
A rapid response would be appreciated.
Thank you.
