Help anyone. I'm about to purchase a complete Air Ride technologies setup to put on my 1960 Cady Eldorado Brogham,
probably shock waves up front and traditional double biscuit Firestone bags in the rear with Air Ride big volume tank and big diameter (1/2 inch?) lines for fast bag action.
Should I forgo the Air Ride tank and go with a scuba tank in the trunk (i.e. slicker looking, more compact, more psi, etc.) or am I out to lunch?
I've had several cars with old style Air Ride Technologies system with slow action, small lines and requiring several cycles of the pump recharging the tank to get the car up to ride height (which takes several minutes). Could somebody prod me into the 21st centuray as far as fast bag setups are concerned?
I'm not trying to replace the oem air bags that came on the car, I'm building an old man's bagged custom with young man's fas bag action and CHUFF sound when bags are dumped. Is Ait Ride Technologies the way to go?
P.S. This is a rare car. 100 made. Body built in Italy by Pinin Farina. A batttleship wieghing 5600 pounds. Gonna be pearl darkpurple body with pearl white with rainbow metalflake roof.
Cheers
Terry
