Dear Sir or Madam:
Hello. My name is Megan Peoples, my daughter Majhia’ Marie Thomas, birthdate April 13, 2003, is on her way to a wonderful opportunity in the world of baby beauty pageants. She was entered in the Sunburst Baby Beauty contest in August of 2003 at the Ashtabula Mall. She won runner-up and won first place on prettiest eyes and best attire. Majhia’ was also entered in the New Star Discovery Baby Contest held on October 25, 2003 at the Ashtabula Mall were she won first prize for prettiest eyes and she was also crowned Queen of Nationals of her age division. Because of this she now has the opportunity to go on to the State and National finals. She has a beautiful smile and a wonderful disposition. She is a very happy baby and very photogenic.
What we are looking for are several businesses who would sponsor her so she can go on to the State and National finals. The following is a basic breakdown of what Majhia’ needs to get to the final pageants.
The basic sponsorship is $150.00 which covers your full page ad in the pamphlet. If you wish your sponsorship to be more, the additional amount above the basic $150.00 will be applied to the estimated minimum expenses listed below. As you can see expenses add up fast, so any additional donations will be greatly appreciated.
$95.00 pageant entry fee.
$60.00 for tickets for the family.
$240.00 for the hotel room; 3 nights.
$10.00 for pageant short set with logo.
$500.00 for Majhia’s Dress; this is the formal dress.
$300.00 for misc. expenses that will be needed, as in gas, food, ETC
The name of your business and your name will be nationally seen, and your business name will be mentioned on TV and the business name will be mentioned as she is brought up on stage. Also your business name will be in the program that is handed out at the pageants. I have enclosed a recent picture of Majhia’. If you are interested in meeting this little girl to see how beautiful she is for yourself, I would be happy to arrange a meeting.
The ads have to be turned in by January 2004, the rest of the arrangements have to be made before April 2004, which is the month the pageants begin. If you are interested in sponsoring Majhia’ for the State and National finals, please call my Aunt Tracy Wuori at (440) 992-6017 so we can make arrangements for her to finalize your sponsorship. Or if you would rather just mail the materials to my Aunt Tracy, please call her at the phone number above for further information. I will make sure you get a copy of the pageant pamphlet containing your ad and a picture of Majhia’ as she appears in the pageant. The following business and individuals have sponsored her so far, her Great Uncle Mark and Great Aunt Tracy of Computer Solutions, and Majhia’s Great Aunt Stella Peoples.
