the loss of motor sensory
has me fleeing from you hastily
comes round again so honestly
limb's leaves scattered aimlessly

fore told, fore tell, for ever, for never
passed old, past hell, passed over, past fervor

say now you find me lacking
suitcase left unpacking
motivation slightly slacking
spineless with no backing

freedom gained through chains pulled tight
firefly thoughts blink bright at night

self has now found friendship
a true untainted kinship
stepping back to take the trip
prepared the knot to make the slip

only now since we've departed
can i see the way we started
oceans of motion no seas since parted
lost dog found still broken hearted

beaten bruised and blamed
eaten used and maimed

and yet i saw the fin
no happy with this end
my foe and yet my friend
i will forever yield to bend.
