standing
sitting
staring in to space
laughing at a joke
or screaming out my rage
You are there

too many times
not looking for Your face
never noticing Your tears
for my sin
for my shame

too many lies
told in vain
untaken chances
to share the wonder that is You

I remember how I was
so dark and hurtfull
full of nothing but hate
and fear

remind me again
how it should be
how it was ment to be
between us
and patiently wait
for me to return.
