on the verge of telling him
almost.
so close to letting him in on my little secret
my mouth opens but nothing comes out
the lack of courage takes it's toll
so time after time the perfect moments fly by
night upon night the courage never comes
and i am left with excuses to not reveal the urge
hope slips away while fear clings to my thoughts
it is torturous
it has the power to control
where's the path of righteousness now?
