The demunitive bronze flew in, happy to yet again see his mate. He flies up and nuzzles her. This is the most beautiful clutch on Pern, my love! And a queen too! Though, it would be the best, queen or not! For you are the mother, and you are perfect. The bronze lays a large fish, as big as himself, he had been holding in his talons in front of her. She must be hungry!
