Trag trooped up on shore again after a few minutes in the water, enjoying the waves but too concerned about his slumbering flit to stay long. So, he emerged from the surf prematurely, and picked up his little brown Baki, as well as the meat he had left. He slung the pack over his shoulder and began walking, intending to get back to the Weyr before he could be missed for being swimming too long. But, once again, the tall, clumsy little boy nearly trips over himself when he saw YET ANOTHER gold in the sands, several lumps splayed about her. He grinned, wondering when they'd hatch, and knelt before her, offering her a bit of the still-okay raw wherry from the pouch, hoping that the food would bribe her into giving him another egg, even thought it was quite obvious he had only just obtained the young brown asleep in the crook of his arm. Trag loved flits; and wanted to take care of as many as he could handle.
